Accessibility

1. Our Commitment

The portal Visit Tricarico is committed to making its web pages accessible to the widest possible audience, removing barriers that may limit access to content by users with temporary or permanent disabilities.

Our goal is to progressively align with the international recommendations provided by the **WCAG 2.1 and 2.2** (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) at the AA level.

2. Implemented Measures

During the development of the portal, we implemented the following accessibility features:

  • Color Contrast: Careful selection of color combinations that comply with minimum contrast thresholds to ensure readability for visually impaired users.
  • Keyboard Navigation: Full support for browsing menus and links using the TAB key, clearly highlighting the focused element.
  • Image Alternatives: All relevant media files have descriptive alternative text (alt) usable by screen readers.
  • Semantic HTML: Correct use of HTML5 tags (such as <header>, <main>, <footer>, and ordered hierarchy of headings).

3. Known Limitations

Some integrated external elements (such as the Leaflet interactive map based on OpenStreetMap) may present limitations for keyboard navigation or screen readers. We are constantly working to minimize these limitations or provide alternative routes.

4. Feedback Mechanism

If you encounter difficulties, visual bugs, or accessibility issues while navigating the site, please let us know so that we can correct the error or provide you with the information in an alternative format.
